Confidentiality

The practice team aim to provide the best possible care for all of our patients. In order to achieve this for ALL patients follow these simple rules

If you cannot attend an appointment – please cancel as your appointment could be used by another patient.

If requesting home visit, consider is it really necessary for the doctor to call, could I attend the surgery

Please order repeat prescriptions in good time to allow your request to be processed by practice staff.

The practice does not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, social class, age, sexual orientation, religion, appearance, medical condition or disability.

Verbally abusive or violent patients will not be tolerated by the practice under any circumstances.

Patients’ Rights and Responsibilities

All patients have NHS rights as outlined in the Patients’ Charter. In
Return we ask patients to treat all staff with courtesy. Abusive or violent behaviour by patients towards any practice member will not be tolerated. This may result in the patient being removed from the practice list and in addition the practice will report such behaviour, if necessary to both the police and the Northern Board (NHSSB).

Suggestions, Comments and Complaints

We are always keen to accept comments and consider any suggestions. Please feel free to contact the Practice Manager in writing with your suggestions or comments. There is also a suggestion box at the reception desk.

Complaints are dealt with in line with our complaints procedure.
Any complaints should be addressed to Dr Wright or our Practice Manager.

There is access via the main entrance to the health centre.
